MARCHING BAND & COLOR GUARD
Marching Band & Color Guard is a fall semester after school program and is open to all instrumentalists/color guards who are interested in being a part of this team. Students in grades 10, 11, and 12 have the opportunity to earn P.E. credit, once the prerequisites are met.
Marching Band competes throughout California in Western Band Association events during the months of October and November.
Come support students at home football games as they showcase this year's show. The show will be performed throughout the Bay Area and California at competitions.

- Invited to march in the Disneyland Main Street parade — 2026
- 1st Place in 2 of 3 competitions — 2025
- 3rd Place + $4,000 at the Fleet Week Band Challenge (San Francisco) — 2022, 2023, and 2024

Required: fingerprinting and background check through MHUSD. Complete this form to register; once cleared, you'll receive a district-issued photo ID.

Use this form to request a reimbursement check for approved purchases made on behalf of SMMA using your own funds
